Navy SEALs face assault charges for treating most-wanted terrorist unkindly

Navy SEALs have secretly captured one of the most wanted terrorists in Iraq—–the alleged mastermind of the murder and mutilation of Four Blackwater USA security guards in Fallujah in 2004. And three of the SEALs who captured him are now facing criminal charges, sources told FoxNews.com.

Almed Hashim Abed, whom the military code-named “Objective Amber,” told investigators he was punched by his captors—–and he had the bloody lip to prove it.     MORE>>

Lyndon Johnson and Jewish friendship during six day war

Lyndon Johnson and Jewish friendship during six day war

It is interesting to note how, today,  “antiwar” organizations like MoveOn.org which had rallied against the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan during the Bush administration have now changed their tunes on both wars with Obama in the White House. MoveOn.org and many antiwar organizations during the Vietnam war, received a large degree of financial support from wealthy Jewish-Americans. In the case of MoveOn.org, huge support comes from Jewish-American financier George Soros.

With President Obama facing an Israel that refuses to comply with his wish that it halt all further housing expansion in the illegally-occupied West Bank and east Jerusalem, James Scot’s book, “The attack on the Liberty: The Untold Story of Israel’s Deadly 1967 Assault on a U.S. Spy Ship,” has special meaning.

The editor had the opportunity  of meeting the author at the National Press Club on November 1 7. Scott, a Charleston, South Carolina-based journalist, has a unique insight into the Israeli attack on the National Security Agency (NSA) ship during the 1967 Six Day WAr: Scott’s father was damage control officer on the USS Liberty. Fortunately, Ensign John Scott survived the attack. Thirty four of his shipmates were not so lucky.

Author Scott recounts that on the eve of the outbreak of the the Six Day War, President Johnson resceived a gift from the Jewish American community. Scott writes about a huge anti-Vietnam War demonstration that was planned to confront Johnson on a trip to New York City: “Many Jewish organizations at the forefront of the anti-war movement opted not to protest, hoping to reduce the pressure on the president as Israel sought America’s support in the standoff with Egypt.      ARTICLE

Ft. Hood: Just the Beginning

muslim-outrageFor those who can still put two and two together, the Ft. Hood killings look like the beginning of a long term bloodletting in our country, an unnecessary travail we will be forced to suffer unless we reverse US foreign policy blunders.

That no end is now in sight is made clear with the contorted spin placed on the Ft. Hood murders by the administration and both liberal and neo-conservative policy makers. On the one hand, Hasan is explained away as disturbed individual, a loner having professional problems acting out of personal distress. End of story. On the other, he is an ‘Islamo-fascist’ who, like all extremist Muslims, “attack us for who we are”. Both explanations are self-serving and miss the mark completely. As neither account for the real, and obvious, reasons the Ft., Hood attack is likely to be only the beginning of our troubles at home.

We expect leadership from Washington but instead get double-talk, couched in high language yes, but nonetheless vapid explanations. Like Bush before him President Obama cynically avoids the truth about this cultural, religious and territorial conflict. Instead, he was “baffled as the rest of the country by the bloody burst of violence”, saying “[w]e cannot fully know what leads a man to do such a thing,” (ABC news, Nov. 8). Source>>>

Postal or Jihad

“When a white guy shoots up a post office, they call that going postal,” said Victor Benjamin II, 30, a former member of the Army. “But when a Muslim does it, they call it jihad.Nidal_Malik_Hasan

Major Hasan was one of about 10 men from Fort Hood who attended prayers in their uniforms, Dr. Farooqi said, and he was shocked to see the major’s face on television identified as that of the gunman. “He is an educated man. A psychiatrist,” he said. “I can’t believe he would do such a stupid thing.”

“I have no words to explain what happened yesterday,” Dr. Farooqi said at Friday afternoon prayers, in which about 40 men were led by the mosque’s imam, Syed Ahmed Ali. “Let’s have a moment of silence to bless those who lost their life.”

“The Islamic community strongly condemns this cowardly attack, which was particularly heinous in that it was directed at the all-volunteer army that protects our nation,” Dr. Farooqi said.

Nihad Awad, the national executive director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, said, “We reiterate the American Muslim community’s condemnation of this cowardly attack. Right now, we call on all Americans to assist those who are responding to this atrocity. We must ensure that the wounded are treated and the families of those who were murdered have an opportunity to mourn.” Source>>> Fort Hood releases names of casualties

General Casey: diversity shouldn’t be casualty of Fort Hood

General George Casey, the Army’s top officer, is concerned that diversity will become a casualty of the Fort Hood tragedy.

TEXAS-SHOOTING/The religious beliefs of suspect Major Nidal Malik Hasan, a Muslim Army psychiatrist, have led to speculation about motive in the shooting rampage that killed 13 people.

“I’m concerned that this increased speculation could cause a backlash against some of our Muslim soldiers. And I’ve asked our Army leaders to be on the lookout for that,” Casey told CNN’s “State of the Union.”

Asked on NBC’s “Meet the Press” whether Muslim soldiers are conflicted in fighting wars in Muslim countries like Afghanistan and Iraq, Casey said: “I think that’s something that we have to look at on an individual basis. But I think we as an Army have to be broad enough to bring in people from all walks of life.”

The bottom line is the military benefits from diversity, he said.

“Our diversity, not only in our Army, but in our country, is a strength. And as horrific as this tragedy was, if our diversity becomes a casualty, I think that’s worse,” Casey said.

Nation Killers

Those who are familiar with the history of the SPLC know that this organization does not seek honesty. Like its other counterparts, it is determined to remain entrenched in its self-appointed role as caretaker and guardian of Americans’ thoughts and social habits.

The term “social engineering” never fit an entity better than it does the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC). This intrusive, tenacious organization has spent years attempting to recast and transform American society to fit its own peculiar ideals. Its directors are missionaries in the full sense of the word, in that they relentlessly work to stamp onto the hearts and minds of the public a distinctive belief system, which teaches what is evil and what is not.

This month, the Federation for Immigration Reform (FAIR) has published an excellent analysis of the SPLC’s attack on FAIR and other immigration reform groups, entitled, Guide to Understanding the Tactics of the Southern Poverty Law Center in the Immigration Debate. It offers much-needed insights. Besides giving the ordinary citizen an opportunity to view the insides of this “watchdog” group, the report should become a reference guide for members of the media, who generally take the easy way out when covering stories about race and/or immigration.

Reporters, editorialists, and feature writers are notorious for accepting, without further investigation, reams of data and materials disseminated to them by a cluster of self-appointed overseers of American society, among the most prominent, the B’nai B’rith Anti-Defamation League (ADL), the NAACP, and the Southern Poverty Law Center.

Thanks to the fawning acceptance granted them by the establishment media, these groups, and several more like them, have acquired an almost quasi-governmental status in the public mind. When they spread lies, there are few people who will risk inevitable public denigration and stand up to challenge them. In regard to the SPLC, FAIR’s new report does just that.

Ft. Hood And “Racism”

Political correctness. Again.

[From original article]:

Army Chief of Staff George Casey warned against reaching conclusions about the suspected shooter’s motives until investigators have fully explored the attack. He said on ABC’s “This Week” that focusing on Hasan’s Islamic roots could “heighten the backlash” against all Muslims in the military.

There had been signs in recent months that Hasan’s growing anger with the U.S. wars in Iraq and Afghanistan were at odds with his military service, including his comments that the war on terror was “a war on Islam.” Others who knew Hasan, an Army psychiatrist, said he had wrestled with what to tell fellow Muslim solders who had their doubts about fighting in Islamic countries.

“I told him, ‘There’s something wrong with you,’ ” Osman Danquah, co-founder of the Islamic Community of Greater Killeen, told The Associated Press on Saturday. “I didn’t get the feeling he was talking for himself, but something just didn’t seem right.”

Danquah assumed the military’s chain of command knew about Hasan’s doubts, which had been known for more than a year to Hasan’s classmates at a Maryland graduate military medical program. There, students complained to faculty about Hasan’s “anti-American propaganda,” but said a fear of appearing discriminatory against a Muslim student kept officers from filing a formal complaint. *Political correctness, the process of which forces even the most reasonable person to tolerate the intolerable lest they are charged as “racists”, effectively stymied any preemptive measures that could have prevented this horror. However, let a white soldier discuss something even remotely akin to ‘white pride’ and he will quite possibly face a discharge or even jail time.–Ed.

Fort Hood Shooting: Nidal Malik Hasan ‘Said Muslims Should Rise Up’

Col Lee alleged that other officers had told him that Maj Hasan had said “maybe people should strap bombs on themselves and go to Time Square” in New York.

Col Terry Lee, a retired officer who worked with him at the military base in Texas, alleged Maj Hasan had angry confrontations with other officers over his views.

Maj Hasan was reportedly fighting orders to be deployed to Iraq at the end of the month, claiming that he was the victim of harassment and insults because of his Arab background and his faith.

The major is a psychiatrist who had been treating soldiers returning from Iraq for post-traumatic stress and alcohol and drug abuse problems.

“He was making outlandish comments condemning our foreign policy and claimed Muslims had the right to rise up and attack Americans,” Col Lee told Fox News.

“He said Muslims should stand up and fight the aggressor and that we should not be in the war in the first place.” He said that Maj Hasan said he was “happy” when a US soldier was killed in an attack on a military recruitment centre in Arkansas in June. An American convert to Islam was accused of the shootings.

Col Lee alleged that other officers had told him that Maj Hasan had said “maybe people should strap bombs on themselves and go to Time Square” in New York.

He claimed he was aware that the major had been subject to “name calling” during heated arguments with other officers.

Federal law enforcement officials have said Maj Hasan had come to their attention at least six months ago because of internet postings that discussed suicide bombings and other threats.

The officials said the postings appeared to have been made by Maj Hasan but they were still trying to confirm that he was the author.

Maj Hasan’s cousin Nader Husan said he was happy working for the military but did dread deployment to Iraq.

Mr Hasan said his cousin was a US-born Muslim who had joined the military after high school. He had served as a psychiatrist at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington DC, which treats many badly wounded troops.

“He was a psychiatrist at Walter Reed dealing with the people coming back and … trying to help them with their trauma,” he said.

He said his cousin had been transferred to Fort Hood in April months ago and was very reluctant to be deployed to Iraq. “We’ve known over the last five years that was probably his worst nightmare,” he said.
